Cashier Job Description Process sales transactions Accept payments Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request an additional charge Answer customer questions about products or services Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts Report issues with equipment Work as a team to meet store sales goals Handle customer complains Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area Assist in stocking and rotating merchandise Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently Stay up to date on merchandise promotions, advertisements, and product information QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks at once.
Dedication to Integrity, Teamwork and Customer Service.
The ability to maintain composure during time of uncertainty.
Excellent communication skills.
Previous POS experience is a plus.
Must be willing and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
Work Cards required for jurisdiction must be provided prior to start date.
