Reporting and Unit Description:
Reporting directly to the Manager of Surgical Services, the Nurse Educator of Perioperative Services will be responsible for the effective development and implementation of staff orientation and education in the Operating Room (OR), Pre-Op, PACU, Endoscopy, Phase II and Central Sterile Department.

Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Nursing Minimum 3 years of experience in nursing with 1 year in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) or Critical Care Job Responsibilities of the Nurse Educator of Perioperative Services:
Develop and implement educational programs for perioperative nursing staff to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices Create and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online modules, to facilitate effective learning and skill development Conduct training sessions, workshops, and skills assessments to enhance the knowledge and competence of perioperative nurses Collaborate with surgical services managers to identify and address specific training needs within the department Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs through feedback, assessments, and ongoing performance monitoring Provide guidance and support to new surgical services nursing staff during orientation and assist in their transition into the department Region Description:
